John 8:50-52

International Standard Version

⁵⁰ I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks it, and he is the Judge. ⁵¹ Truly, I tell all of you^[a] emphatically, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.”

⁵² Then the Jewish leaders^[b] told him, “Now we really know that you have a demon. Abraham died, and so did the prophets, but you say, ‘If anyone keeps my word, he will never taste death.’
